Boiler Feed Systems
Quality boiler feedwater for reliability — the support equipment your steam process demands.
Deaerators & Feed Systems
Cleaver-Brooks Deaerators

For systems with moderate to high steam loss, a deaerator is a must. It removes dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide from feedwater — reducing chemical use and blowdown, saving energy and extending boiler life — while preheating feedwater to reduce thermal shock.
- Capacity
- 7,000–500,000 lb/hr (TrayMaster, SprayMaster, Boilermate)
- Small loads
- 2,000–7,000 lb/hr (MiniMate)

Cleaver-Brooks Surge Tank

For very large steam systems, a surge tank saves valuable condensate by adding storage to handle volume swings that exceed deaerator capacity. It includes the tank and stand plus factory-piped and wired transfer pumps, and can integrate with the ADAC control for complete control of the deaerator, surge tank, pumps, level control and make-up.
- Size
- 300–3,600 gallons
- Use
- Steam applications
Cleaver-Brooks Boiler Feed System

Maintain efficiency and prolong boiler life where a deaerator isn’t practical. With one or more feed pumps and a corrosion-resistant receiver tank, the system automatically supplements condensate with make-up water to replace system losses.
- Type
- Atmospheric pressure
- Use
- Steam and hot water
- Size
- Up to 1,000 gallons
MiniMate Deaerator

The MiniMate® is a pressurized packed-column deaerator where water passes through a labyrinth of packing materials that agitate it to remove dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide from feedwater.
- Design
- Packed column
- Capacity
- 2,000–7,000 lbs/hr
- Pumping
- On/off
Fabtek Boiler Feed Systems
